Anti-Friction Coatings

MOLYKOTE anti-friction coatings are bonded dry-film lubricants containing solid lubricants dispersed in resin and solvent systems. After application and curing, they form a thin lubricating film on the component surface and are used where a clean, dry lubricant is preferred, where dust or contamination makes wet lubrication undesirable, or where relubrication access is limited. Coating choice depends on substrate, surface preparation, application method, cure requirements, film thickness, load, motion, and service environment.

Dispersions

MOLYKOTE dispersions suspend finely divided solid lubricants in a liquid carrier so the lubricant can be applied by liquid methods, including automatic dispensing where appropriate. They are used for dry-film lubrication of sliding contacts, lubrication of chains, conveyors and bearings in demanding temperature conditions, selected cutting or sewing operations, release applications, and other specialty processes.
