Product Description
ECCOSORB™ CR-124 Castable Epoxy Absorber is a two-part, castable epoxy microwave absorber for molding waveguide terminations, attenuators, loads, and custom absorber shapes or for potting localized radio-frequency leakage. The CR-124 grade uses a 100:2.6 Part A-to-Part B mix ratio and is positioned for frequencies below 5 GHz. The material is processed warm to improve pourability and may be cured from 75°C to 150°C using the documented schedule. Shared CR-family properties include low outgassing, service below 180°C, low water absorption, and suitability for aerospace, defense, telecom, and test applications.
Key features
- Below-5 GHz grade: CR-124 is the lower-frequency standard grade in the CR family.
- Castable epoxy absorber: The system can mold terminations, attenuators, loads, and custom absorber shapes.
- Low-outgassing family: The CR series is documented for low-outgassing applications.
Applications / Suitable for
- Waveguide terminations and loads
- Attenuators and custom absorber shapes
- Localized RF-leakage potting
