Product Description
MOLYKOTE® EM-D110 Grease is a white, high-viscosity-base-oil polyalphaolefin grease developed for lubricating plastic components. Its lithium-soap-thickened formulation contains PTFE and other solid lubricants and is compatible with most plastics. The grease is designed for applications requiring noise reduction and damping, including plastic gears and driveshaft spline connections, while its low seepage supports use where cleanliness is important.
Key features
- Plastic-component lubrication: Compatible with most plastics and formulated to reduce noise from plastic gears.
- Noise and vibration damping: High-viscosity base oil supports applications where noise reduction and damping are required.
- Low-seepage, silicone-free formulation: Supports cleaner application areas and avoids silicone-related contact-point failures.
Applications / Suitable for
- Plastic gears requiring reduced operating noise
- Driveshaft spline connections requiring reduced engagement feedback
- Plastic-component lubrication where damping and low seepage are desired
