ITW Performance Polymers
ITW Performance Polymers Adhesives, Encapsulation & Industrial Repair Solutions
ITW Performance Polymers develops structural and semi-structural adhesives, potting and encapsulation compounds, industrial repair materials, protective polymer coatings, and epoxy grouting and chocking systems. Relevant technology platforms include Plexus® structural adhesives, Insulcast® electrical and electronic encapsulation materials, Devcon® repair and maintenance compounds, and Chockfast® and Epocast® grouting and chocking solutions for demanding industrial assemblies and equipment.
As an authorized ITW Performance Polymers distributor, Krayden supports customers evaluating materials for bonding, electrical protection, equipment repair, wear protection, and machinery foundation applications. Our team can help compare chemistries, substrates, processing requirements, application conditions, and other product-specific selection factors before a material is specified.
Markets Served by ITW Performance Polymers
Featured ITW Performance Polymers Brands
Key technology platforms relevant to structural bonding, electrical encapsulation, industrial repair, and machinery grouting and chocking.
Plexus®
Structural and semi-structural adhesive technologies for bonding composites, thermoplastics, metals, and mixed-material assemblies across manufacturing applications.
Insulcast®
Epoxy and silicone potting and encapsulation compounds for electrical and electronic assemblies, including general-purpose and thermal-management applications.
Devcon®
Industrial repair, rebuilding, wear-protection, corrosion-control, and adhesive technologies for OEM and maintenance applications.
Chockfast®
Epoxy grouting and chocking systems used to support alignment, foundation, and machinery-installation requirements in industrial and marine environments.
Epocast®
Chocking compounds and related materials associated with machinery mounting and marine equipment-installation applications.
Structural Adhesives
ITW Performance Polymers supports structural bonding through Plexus methacrylate and polyurethane technologies and Devcon epoxy adhesive systems. These materials are used across composite, thermoplastic, metal, and mixed-material assemblies where the adhesive must be selected around substrate condition, bondline geometry, working time, fixturing, production method, and the mechanical and environmental demands of the finished assembly.
Potting and Encapsulation Compounds
Insulcast epoxy and silicone compounds are used to pot, cast, and encapsulate electrical and electronic assemblies where protection, insulation, thermal management, flow, flexibility, or production processing requirements influence material choice. Applications include printed circuit boards, power supplies, transformers, batteries, ignition components, and other electrical equipment; the appropriate chemistry depends on the assembly design and product-specific electrical, thermal, mechanical, and processing requirements.
Repair Compounds and Protective Coatings
Devcon repair compounds and coating technologies are used to rebuild damaged surfaces, repair metal or rubber components, and protect industrial equipment against wear, abrasion, corrosion, erosion, and related maintenance challenges. Choosing the right material depends on the base substrate, damage mechanism, application thickness, surface preparation, equipment geometry, cure window, and the mechanical, chemical, or wear conditions expected in service.
Epoxy Grouts and Chocking Compounds
ITW Performance Polymers supplies epoxy grouting and chocking technologies for machinery foundations, alignment, mounting, and load-transfer applications. Chockfast systems span industrial grouting and chocking, while Epocast products are associated with machinery and marine chocking. Material selection and installation should be based on equipment type, load path, foundation condition, placement geometry, grout or chock dimensions, application temperature, and the product-specific installation procedure.
