Product Description

INSULCAST® RTVS 8127 Silicone Encapsulant is a gray, two-component, flame-retardant, reversion-resistant silicone compound for potting dense electronic packages that require heat dissipation. The 1:1 system has a typical mixed viscosity of 4,000 cP and a 160 to 220-minute pot life at 25°C, supporting controlled flow before a 24-hour room-temperature cure. After cure, the silicone has Shore A 55 hardness, 0.75 W/m·K thermal conductivity, 500 V/mil dielectric strength, and service from -55°C to 204°C. The product is documented as UL 94 V-0.
