Product Description
DOWSIL™ RSN-0804 Resin is a hard, rigid silicone binder resin in toluene for high-temperature coatings, maintenance paints, colored baking enamels, decorative finishes, and flow modification in organic coatings. The resin is documented for aluminum coatings that provide short-duration heat resistance and for silicone-ceramic coatings containing ceramic frits. It may also improve heat stability and weatherability when blended with selected organic resins. Typical as-supplied properties include 60% resin solids by weight, 30 cP viscosity, 1.07 specific gravity, and a 7°C closed-cup flash point.
