DOWSIL OS-30

DOWSIL™ OS-30 Fluid is a clear, colorless, and odorless methyl polysiloxane fluid used for precision cleaning, rinsing, and process-carrier applications. Its low surface tension supports wetting of complex surfaces, while its mild cleaning action is compatible with most plastics and delicate surface coatings. The fluid evaporates completely at room temperature and has very low residual nonvolatile content, allowing cleaned surfaces to be subsequently painted, coated, or bonded. Applications include removing nonvolatile silicone contamination, rinsing parts after stronger cleaning processes, impregnating cleaning wipes, cleaning industrial optics and spectacle lenses, and carrying silicone oils or greases.
