Product Description
DOWSIL™ 3-1944 HP RTV Coating is a one-part, translucent polydimethylsiloxane coating for localized protection and thin-section encapsulation in electronic assemblies. The solventless material cures through exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature, with optional mild heat acceleration at temperatures up to 60°C. Its 53,000 mPa·s viscosity supports controlled flow and needle dispensing, while the cured coating forms a soft, low-stress elastomer. An integrated UV indicator supports visual or automated inspection, and the coating carries a UL 94 V-0 flammability classification under UL 746C.
