Product Description
LOCTITE ABLESTIK 2114 BIPAX is a two-component, transparent, non-conductive epoxy adhesive supplied in a BIPAX mixing-dispenser package for easy mixing. Formulated for optical clarity and low viscosity, it is recommended for industrial adhesive and laminating applications. This solvent-based system cures at room temperature over 24 hours or with an accelerated schedule, and supports continuous service from -60°C to 110°C. It bonds metals, glass, glass fabrics, ceramics, and plastics, offering strong tensile strength, good electrical insulation, and environmental and chemical resistance in its cured state.
Key features
- Transparent with optical clarity: Low viscosity and refractive index of 1.57 for optically clear bonding applications.
- High tensile strength: 50 N/mm² (7,200 psi) tensile strength in the cured state.
- Electrically insulating: Dielectric strength of 410 volts/mil supports non-conductive assembly needs.
Applications / Suitable for: Industrial adhesive and laminating applications across metals, glass, glass fabrics, ceramics, and plastics.
