Product Description

LOCTITE ABLESTIK 2106T BIPAX is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy adhesive designed for high-strength structural bonding applications. Supplied as a light yellow to orange liquid at a 110:93 resin-to-hardener mix ratio in a BIPAX mixing-dispenser package, it cures at room temperature in 4 to 6 hours or with an accelerated 1-hour cure at 65°C, developing significant handling strength within an hour of mixing. The adhesive is electrically insulating with low shrinkage and chemical resistance, and bonds a wide range of substrates including metals, phenolic plastics, polyester, glass, glass fabrics, ceramics, rubbers, and masonry materials. It supports continuous service from -60°C to 115°C, with intermittent exposure tolerance up to 150°C.

Key features

  • Fast property development: Reaches Shore D 72 hardness within 60 minutes of mixing at 25°C.
  • Electrically insulating: Volume resistivity of 5×10¹¹ ohm-cm at 25°C.
  • Broad substrate compatibility: Bonds metals, plastics, glass, ceramics, rubbers, and masonry materials.

Applications / Suitable for: High-strength structural assembly bonding across metals, plastics, glass, ceramics, and masonry/construction materials.
