- Fuel and oil resistance
Product Description
Royal Sealants WS-8020RC Class B Rapid-Cure Fuel Tank and Fuselage Sealant is a two-part rapid-cure polysulfide paste for aircraft fuel tank and fuselage sealing. The low-sag, thixotropic material applies by extrusion or spatula spreading and cures at room temperature. Its documented property set includes fuel and oil resistance, low-temperature flexibility at -65 deg F, and an intermittent exposure limit of 360 deg F. The Class B system is supplied as base and accelerator components and uses controlled mix ratios by weight or volume for consistent preparation before application.
Key features
- Rapid room-temperature cure: Supports shortened sealant processing cycles
- Low-sag thixotropy: Controls placement during extrusion or spatula application
- Fuel and oil resistance: Supports documented aerospace fluid-exposure conditions
Applications
Aircraft fuel tank and fuselage sealing where the documented rapid-cure Class B polysulfide process and fuel or aviation-fluid exposure scope apply.
