ROYAL WS-8010

Main features

  • Low-adhesion removable gasket
  • Two Class B work lives
  • Low-sag room-temperature cure

Product Description

Royal Sealants WS-8010 Class B Access Door Sealant is a two-part, manganese-dioxide-cured polysulfide paste that forms a low-adhesion gasket for aircraft access doors and related removable panels. The thixotropic, low-sag material can be applied by extrusion gun or spatula and cures at room temperature. Class B-1/2 and B-2 variants provide application lives of 0.5 and 2 hours, respectively, with separate tack-free and cure schedules. The cured red sealant is formulated for service from -65 to 250 deg F while retaining the low-adhesion behavior required for later panel removal.

Key features

  • Low-adhesion gasket: Supports sealing of removable access doors and panels
  • Two Class B profiles: Provides 0.5- or 2-hour application life
  • Low-sag paste: Applies by extrusion gun or spatula

Applications

Sealing aircraft access doors and related removable panels where a low-adhesion, room-temperature-cured Class B polysulfide gasket is specified.
