Main features

  • Flexible Cured Adhesive
  • 10 to 20-Minute Working Window
  • Up to 2 mm Gap Filling

Product Description

Permabond® ET515 Two-Part Epoxy is a 1:1 mixable, semi-flexible toughened epoxy adhesive. It cures relatively fast at room temperature, reaching handling strength in just 20-30 minutes, and provides excellent adhesion to a diverse array of substrates including wood, metal, ceramics, plastics, and composites. Its semi-flexible nature provides good impact strength and makes it highly suitable for bonding dissimilar materials where differential thermal expansion is anticipated.

Key features

  • Semi-flexible and toughened: Provides good impact strength and flexibility, accommodating differential thermal expansion between dissimilar bonded materials.
  • Fast room-temperature cure: A relatively fast-curing epoxy that achieves handling strength in 20-30 minutes without the need for external heat.
  • Versatile adhesion: Bonds strongly to a wide variety of substrates including metals, wood, ceramics, composites, and certain plastics.

Applications / Suitable for

  • Bonding dissimilar materials subject to thermal cycling or expansion
  • Structural bonding of wood, metal, ceramics, and composites
  • Assemblies requiring a semi-flexible, impact-resistant joint
