Main features
- Thixotropic Application Control
- 5 to 10-Second Fixturing Time
- One-Part Moisture-Cure Adhesive
Product Description
PERMABOND® 2011 Cyanoacrylate Adhesive is a single-component, thixotropic ethyl cyanoacrylate developed for rapid bonding on vertical and porous surfaces. Its gel consistency supports controlled application with reduced flow, while moisture on the mating surfaces initiates cure after the parts are pressed together. The colorless adhesive fixtures documented steel, Buna N rubber, and phenolic substrates in 5–10 seconds and reaches full strength after 24 hours. It provides a maximum documented gap-filling capability of 0.5 mm and can be used on metals, plastics, elastomers, ceramics, and wood.
Key features
- Thixotropic gel consistency: Supports controlled application on vertical and porous substrates with a maximum documented gap fill of 0.5 mm.
- Rapid fixture performance: Reaches 0.3 N/mm² shear strength in 5–10 seconds on documented steel, Buna N rubber, and phenolic substrates.
- Single-component moisture-initiated cure: Requires no component mixing and develops full strength after 24 hours under documented conditions.
Applications / Suitable for
- Bonding vertical and porous substrates
- Bonding metals, plastics, and elastomers
- Bonding ceramics and wood
- Rapid assembly of components with gaps up to 0.5 mm
