- 25 kV/mm Dielectric Strength
Product Description
PERMABOND® 2010 Cyanoacrylate Adhesive is a thixotropic, fast-setting, single-component ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive designed for vertical, porous, and gap-filling applications. Its semi-gel consistency helps resist running and supports controlled dispensing on metals, plastics, elastomers, ceramics, and wood. At 25 °C, the adhesive provides a viscosity of 2,000–2,500 mPa·s at 20 rpm and 10,000–20,000 mPa·s at 2 rpm, reflecting its thixotropic behavior. It fills gaps up to 0.5 mm and typically reaches handling strength in 10–15 seconds on steel, Buna N rubber, and phenolic, with full strength developing in 24 hours.
Key features
- Thixotropic semi-gel consistency: Helps prevent running on vertical surfaces while supporting accurate dispensing and placement.
- Maximum gap-filling capability: Suitable for joints with gaps up to 0.5 mm.
- Fast fixture performance: Typical handling strength is achieved in 10–15 seconds on steel, Buna N rubber, and phenolic.
Applications / Suitable for
- Vertical bonding applications
- Porous substrates
- Gap-filling joints up to 0.5 mm
- Bonding metals, plastics, elastomers, ceramics, and wood
- High-speed industrial assembly
