Main features
- Former Lord 7111-B Hardener
- Low-Shrinkage Epoxy Bonding
- Room-Temperature or Accelerated Heat Curing
Product Description
LORD® 7111-B is the former designation for the hardener now identified as LORD® 3135-B. When mixed in equal parts by weight with LORD® 3135-A resin, it forms a two-component structural epoxy adhesive for bonding metals, wood, glass, concrete, masonry and supported synthetic materials. The mixed system is especially suited to bonding skins to plastic or metal honeycomb cores, polyurethane foams, and phenolic or epoxy laminates, with room-temperature and accelerated heat-cure options.
Key Features
- Former LORD® 7111-B designation corresponds to the LORD® 3135-B hardener used with LORD® 3135-A resin.
- Equal-weight mixing with LORD® 3135-A resin produces a 100% solids structural epoxy adhesive.
- Low-stress cured system provides low cure shrinkage, bondline flexibility and good electrical resistance.
- Qualified mixed-system performance meets NASA Low Outgassing Specification, MMM-A-134 Types 1 and 2, and MIL-A-8623A Types 1 and 2 requirements.
Applications / Suitable for
- Use with LORD® 3135-A resin in structural adhesive systems
- Bonding skins to plastic or metal honeycomb cores
- Polyurethane foam bonding
- Phenolic and epoxy laminate bonding
