  • Thixotropic Application Control
  • 30 to 60-Minute Working Window
  • 32 MPa Cured Tensile Strength

Product Description

LORD® 310 Epoxy Adhesive is a modified, thixotropic two-component epoxy adhesive for bonding prepared metals, rubber, urethane, plastics, glass, and ceramics under the documented preparation conditions. The solvent-free system may be cured at room temperature or with heat and has a typical working time of 30 to 60 minutes at 24°C. Supported applications include disk drives, down-hole oil-field equipment, automotive body panels and spoilers, sheet-molded compound, and vibration-damping mounts. Typical cured properties include 32 MPa tensile strength, 60°C glass-transition temperature, and service from -40°C to 204°C.

Key features

  • Thixotropic two-part epoxy: The paste system supports controlled application to prepared substrates.
  • Room-temperature or heat cure: Typical working time is 30 to 60 minutes at 24°C, with full strength in 24 hours at 18°C or higher.
  • Broad temperature range: The documented service-temperature range is -40°C to 204°C.

Applications / Suitable for

  • Disk drives and down-hole oil-field equipment
  • Automotive body panels and spoilers
  • Sheet-molded compound and vibration-damping mounts
