Product Description
LOCTITE SF 7471 Activator is a one-part acetone/isopropanol solvent activator for increasing the cure speed of LOCTITE anaerobic adhesives and sealants. The transparent yellow-to-amber liquid is applied by spray or brush and dries in 30 to 70 seconds at 20 deg C. It is used on passive metals, inert surfaces, large bond gaps, and assemblies below 15 deg C where anaerobic cure is slower. Treated surfaces remain active for up to 7 days when protected from contamination. The activator and adhesive are applied separately and must not be mixed together as liquids.
