Product Description
LOCTITE EA 9837.1 AERO is an epoxy-based composite surfacing film designed for aerospace composite structures and honeycomb-stiffened composite parts. Available in 0.030 psf (150 g/m²) and 0.035 psf (170 g/m²) formats, it is engineered to improve surface quality while minimizing core crush and porosity during composite fabrication. The film is co-curable with composite prepregs and supports cure schedules at either 250°F (121°C) or 350°F (177°C). Its paintable surface, resistance to microcracking, and compatibility with lightning strike screens and foils make it suitable for aerospace composite components requiring enhanced surface finish and paint adhesion.
