LOCTITE EA 445

Main features

  • Pre-Measured Two-Component Mixer Cup
  • 2 to 3-Minute Gel Time
  • Drillable, Tappable, Sandable Cured Epoxy

Product Description

LOCTITE® EA 445 is a two-component, room-temperature-curing epoxy adhesive supplied in a pre-measured mixer cup. It forms permanent, high-strength bonds to metals, ceramics, concrete, wood, glass, and most plastics, while also supporting repair, filling, and sealing of holes, cracks, and worn surfaces. The mixed adhesive is gray and has a gel time of 2 to 3 minutes at 25 °C. After cure, it can be drilled, tapped, sanded, machined, or painted, allowing bonded or repaired surfaces to undergo further finishing. Typical applications include production, maintenance, and prototype bonding. The product is not recommended for polyethylene or polypropylene.

Key features

  • Pre-measured two-component format: The resin and hardener are packaged in a mixer cup to support consistent proportioning and straightforward manual mixing.
  • Fast room-temperature gel: The mixed adhesive has a gel time of 2 to 3 minutes at 25 °C for rapid bonding and repair work.
  • Machinable after cure: The cured epoxy may be drilled, tapped, sanded, machined, or painted for subsequent finishing.

Applications / Suitable for

  • Production, maintenance, and prototype bonding
