Product Description
LOCTITE ABLESTIK CT 5047-2 is a two-component, electrically conductive epoxy adhesive designed for assembly applications requiring both bonding and electrical connection. The silver-filled system combines a paste resin with an amine hardener at a 100:6 ratio by weight and can be cured at room temperature or with heat. It is intended for electrical connections where hot soldering is impractical and for conductive-plastic locations that cannot be exposed to high temperatures.
Key features
- Electrically conductive epoxy: Creates bonded electrical connections with typical cured volume resistivity as low as 0.002 ohm-cm after curing for 2 hours at 65°C.
- Room-temperature or heat cure: Supports a 24-hour cure at 25°C or accelerated cure schedules of 2 hours at 65°C or 1 hour at 100°C.
- Controlled application window: Provides good dispense behavior and a typical mixed work life of 1 hour for a 100 g mass at 25°C.
Applications / Suitable for
- Electrical connections where hot soldering is impractical
- Electrical connection to conductive plastics
- Assembly locations that cannot be subjected to high temperatures
