LOCTITE 3103

Main features

  • UV/Visible-Light Adhesive Cure
  • High-Adhesion Adhesive Bonding
  • Polycarbonate Bonding Application

Product Description

LOCTITE® AA 3103™ is a one-component UV and visible light-curing acrylic adhesive specifically formulated for bonding polycarbonate components while minimizing the risk of stress cracking under typical molded stress conditions. The transparent, flexible adhesive cures rapidly upon exposure to suitable ultraviolet or visible light sources, enabling high-speed production processes. LOCTITE AA 3103 develops strong, transparent bonds with a wide variety of substrates including polycarbonate, glass, many plastics and most metals. Its thixotropic consistency reduces adhesive migration after application, allowing precise placement and improved bond-line control.

Key Features & Benefits

  • UV and visible light-curing adhesive for rapid processing.
  • Specially designed for bonding polycarbonate without stress cracking.
  • Forms flexible, transparent bonds.
  • Excellent adhesion to glass, plastics and metals.
  • Thixotropic formulation minimizes adhesive migration.
  • One-component system requiring no mixing.
  • Enhances load-bearing and shock-absorbing characteristics of bonded assemblies.

Recommended Applications

  • Polycarbonate-to-polycarbonate bonding.
  • Transparent plastic assembly applications.
  • Glass-to-plastic bonding.
  • Medical, electronic and industrial component assembly.
  • High-speed production environments utilizing UV curing systems.
