Product Description
LOCTITE 662 is a yellow, medium-viscosity one-component retaining compound with anaerobic cure inside cylindrical metal fits and UV cure for exposed material outside the bondline. This dual mechanism allows the retained joint and visible overflow bead to be cured within one process. A 1,750 to 3,250 mPa s viscosity supports controlled application before assembly. UV exposure at the specified intensity can fixture glass assemblies in 10 seconds or less, while steel pin-and-collar shear strength develops through the specified ambient cure periods. The product is intended for high-strength retaining applications where exposed material also requires cure.
