LOCTITE 569

Main features

  • Low-Viscosity Sealing Application
  • Vibration-Resistant Thread Sealing
  • Broad Fluid Resistance

Product Description

LOCTITE® 569™ is a one-component, low-viscosity anaerobic thread sealant designed for locking and sealing close-fitting metal pipes and fittings. The brown methacrylate ester liquid cures when confined between mating metal surfaces in the absence of air, helping prevent loosening and leakage caused by shock and vibration. Its low-strength formulation supports service disassembly, while its fluid resistance makes it suitable for industrial threaded connections exposed to oils, fuels, water, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and phosphate-ester fluids.

Key features

  • Low-viscosity thread sealing: Flows into close-fitting metal threads to support complete coverage of the threaded interface.
  • Vibration-resistant locking: Helps prevent threaded fittings from loosening or leaking under shock and vibration.
  • Broad fluid resistance: Retains performance after extended exposure to common industrial oils, fuels, water, and hydraulic fluids.
