LOCTITE 435
Harmonization Code : 3907.30.00.40 | Epoxy Mold Compounds containing by weight more than 70 % silicon dioxide

Main features
- Rubber-Toughened Peel Resistance
- Low-Viscosity Rapid Bonding
- Porous-Material Bonding Range
Product Description
LOCTITE 435 is a one-part, low-viscosity, rubber-toughened ethyl cyanoacrylate instant adhesive for metals, plastics, rubbers, and selected porous materials. The toughened formulation combines increased flexibility and peel strength with resistance to shock. A viscosity of 100 to 250 mPa s supports rapid wetting and thin bondlines, while fixture time ranges from under 5 seconds on nitrile rubber and balsa wood to 30 to 60 seconds on common metal substrates. The adhesive also bonds wood, paper, leather, and fabric when those materials fit the assembly requirements.
Key features
- Rubber-toughened flexibility: The cured adhesive provides increased flexibility and peel strength with enhanced shock resistance.
- Low-viscosity rapid wetting: A 100 to 250 mPa s viscosity supports thin bondlines and fast fixture on many substrates.
- Porous-material bonding range: The product supports selected wood, paper, leather, and fabric assemblies in addition to common engineering materials.
Applications / Suitable for
- Shock- and peel-resistant bonding of metals
- Bonding plastics, rubbers, and elastomers
- Bonding selected porous or absorbent materials
