Main features

  • ISO 10993-Based Biocompatible
  • Low-Blooming Bonding Cure
  • Dual-Cure Bonding Processing

Product Description

LOCTITE® 4306™ is a one-component UV/light-curing cyanoacrylate adhesive formulated with a photoinitiator to provide ultra-fast fixture speeds, surface cure and fillet cure capabilities. The adhesive combines UV/visible light curing with a secondary moisture-cure mechanism, enabling reliable bonding of plastics, rubbers and metals while minimizing blooming. Its fluorescent properties under UV light allow easy inspection of adhesive presence and coverage. LOCTITE 4306 has been tested to Henkel protocols based on ISO 10993 biocompatibility standards and is widely used in the assembly of disposable medical devices and precision components requiring rapid processing and inspection.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Dual-cure technology combining UV/visible light cure with secondary humidity cure.
  • Very rapid surface and fixture curing performance.
  • Fluoresces under UV light for inspection and quality control.
  • Low blooming characteristics compared with conventional cyanoacrylates.
  • One-component adhesive requiring no mixing.
  • Suitable for plastics, rubbers and metal substrates.
  • Evaluated using ISO 10993-based biocompatibility protocols for medical device applications.

Recommended Applications

  • Disposable medical device assembly.
  • UV-curable bonding processes requiring rapid fixture speed.
  • Plastic, rubber and metal component assembly.
  • Applications requiring fluorescent bond-line inspection.
  • Precision manufacturing and automated assembly systems.
