Main features
- Rapid UV Surface Cure
- Humidity Secondary Cure
- Fluorescent Application Inspection
Product Description
LOCTITE 4307 is a one-part ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive with UV and visible-light cure plus secondary humidity cure for plastics, rubbers, and metals. The fluorescent liquid supports application inspection, while exposed fillets and surfaces can reach a tack-free state in seconds under the specified light conditions. Humidity cure supports bonded interfaces outside direct light. A viscosity of 600 to 1,200 mPa s supports controlled placement, and non-UV fixture times range from 5 to 20 seconds on several tested substrates. It is suited to rapid assembly where fast fixturing and controlled exposed-surface cure are required.
Key features
- Rapid light-cured surfaces: Exposed fillets and surfaces reach tack-free cure in 5 seconds or less with documented UV light sources.
- Secondary humidity cure: Atmospheric moisture supports cure in bonded areas that do not receive direct light.
- Fluorescent application inspection: Positive UV fluorescence helps operators identify applied adhesive during assembly.
Applications / Suitable for
- Rapid bonding of plastics, rubbers, and metals
- UV or visible-light curing of exposed fillets and surfaces
- Disposable medical-device assembly within documented evaluation scope
