Harmonization Code : 3506.10.00.00 | Prepared glues and other prepared adhesives, not elsewhere specified or included; products suitable for use as glues or adhesives, put up for retail sale as glues or adhesives, not exceeding a net weight of 1 kg

Main features
- Low-Viscosity Metal Bonding
- Fast Thin-Gap Fixturing
- Broad Rubber-Plastic Compatibility
Product Description
LOCTITE 430 is a transparent, colorless, low-viscosity methyl cyanoacrylate instant adhesive for general-purpose bonding, with particular suitability for metal substrates. The one-part liquid also bonds supported rubber and plastic materials and cures through atmospheric moisture without mixing. Cone-and-plate viscosity of 60 to 90 mPa s supports thin bondlines and rapid wetting. Fixture time ranges from under 10 seconds on neoprene and nitrile rubber to 20 to 40 seconds on degreased steel under the specified conditions. Full chemical and solvent resistance develops after at least 24 hours.
Key features
- Metal-focused instant bonding: The methyl cyanoacrylate formulation is particularly suited to close-fitting metal assemblies.
- Low-viscosity thin-gap flow: A 60 to 90 mPa s cone-and-plate viscosity supports rapid wetting of narrow bondlines.
- Fast multi-material fixture: Tested rubbers fixture in under 10 seconds, with short fixture times on metals and plastics.
Applications / Suitable for
- Rapid bonding of close-fitting metal parts
- Bonding supported rubber substrates
- General-purpose plastic assembly
