LOCTITE 410

Main features

  • Rubber-Toughened Cyanoacrylate Adhesive
  • Visible Cured Bondline
  • Dynamic/Impact-Loading Adhesive Bonding

Product Description

LOCTITE® 410 is a one-component, rubber-toughened ethyl cyanoacrylate adhesive designed to provide exceptional impact resistance, peel strength and durability while maintaining the rapid curing characteristics of instant adhesives. The black adhesive is particularly suitable for bonding metals, plastics, elastomers and combinations of dissimilar materials where shock, vibration and thermal cycling resistance are required. Its toughened formulation improves resistance to cracking and dynamic loads, making it ideal for demanding industrial assembly and maintenance applications. The adhesive cures rapidly in the presence of ambient humidity and requires no mixing prior to use.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Rubber-toughened cyanoacrylate formulation for high impact resistance.
  • Excellent resistance to shock, vibration and peel stresses.
  • One-component adhesive requiring no mixing.
  • Fast room-temperature cure activated by ambient humidity.
  • Bonds metals, plastics, elastomers and mixed-material assemblies.
  • Black appearance allows visual identification of bond line.
  • Suitable for applications exposed to dynamic and impact loading.

Recommended Applications

  • Bonding rubber, metals and engineering plastics.
  • Shock- and vibration-resistant assemblies.
  • Industrial maintenance and repair operations.
  • Automotive and mechanical component assembly.
  • Applications requiring enhanced toughness and durability.
