LOCTITE 3936
Harmonization Code : 3907.30.00.40 | Epoxy Mold Compounds containing by weight more than 70 % silicon dioxide

Main features
- Medium-Viscosity Gap Control
- Sub-Five-Second Light Fixturing
- Flexible Cannula Bonding
Product Description
LOCTITE AA 3936 is a one-component, medium-viscosity UV/visible-light acrylic adhesive for cannula bonding and precision medical-device assembly. The transparent-to-slightly-hazy liquid requires no mixing, fluoresces under UV light, and reaches fixture strength in under 5 seconds under the specified 365 nm light conditions. Its 8,000 to 14,000 mPa s viscosity is suited to dispensing adhesive on the cannula before hub assembly, larger cannula-to-hub gaps, and geometries where the cannula ends in the core pin bore. After cure, the material has 300% elongation and Shore D 55. Applications include hubs, syringes, and lancets using stainless steel cannulae.
Key features
- Medium-Viscosity Placement: The 8,000 to 14,000 mPa s range supports pre-applied cannula adhesive and larger hub gaps.
- Sub-Five-Second Fixture: Fixture strength develops in under 5 seconds at the listed 365 nm light conditions.
- Flexible Cured Material: The cured adhesive provides 300% elongation with Shore D 55 hardness.
Applications / Suitable for
- Bonding stainless steel cannulae into hubs
- Larger-gap cannula-to-hub joints
- Syringe and lancet needle assembly
