LOCTITE 3922
Harmonization Code : 3907.30.00.40 | Epoxy Mold Compounds containing by weight more than 70 % silicon dioxide

Main features
- Low-Viscosity Cannula Bonding
- Fast UV/Visible-Light Fixturing
- Sterilization-Tested Needle Assemblies
Product Description
LOCTITE AA 3922 is a one-component, low-viscosity UV/visible-light acrylic adhesive for rapid needle assembly and other precision medical-device bonding. The transparent-to-hazy liquid requires no mixing, fluoresces under UV light for presence inspection, and fixtures glass in 10 seconds or less under the specified 365 nm exposure. It bonds stainless steel cannulae into hubs, syringes, and lancets. Cannula-bonding results cover multiple hub polymers and sterilization methods. At the specified cure condition, the material has 135% elongation, Shore D 66, and 18 N/mm^2 tensile strength. Its flow and cure profile suit small bond areas and controlled cannula placement.
Key features
- Low-Viscosity Cannula Bonding: A 150 to 450 mPa s viscosity supports controlled flow around small cannula-to-hub joints.
- Fast Light Fixture: Glass fixture strength develops in 10 seconds or less at the listed 365 nm condition.
- Sterilization-Tested Assemblies: Tested needle assemblies retained bond strength after listed gamma, EtO, and autoclave cycles.
Applications / Suitable for
- Bonding stainless steel cannulae into hubs
- Syringe and lancet needle assembly
- Disposable medical-device assembly
