Main features

  • Fast UV/Visible-Light Fixturing
  • Flexible Plastic Bonding
  • UV-Fluorescent Presence Inspection

Product Description

LOCTITE AA 3341 is a one-component, low-viscosity acrylated urethane adhesive for UV/visible-light bonding and potting. It is formulated primarily for heavily plasticized PVC and also bonds polycarbonate and ABS. The transparent light-yellow liquid requires no mixing, fluoresces under UV light for presence inspection, and develops fixture strength in about 5 seconds under the specified 365 or 405 nm light conditions. After cure, the flexible material has 220% elongation and a 6.2 N/mm^2 block-shear result on polycarbonate-to-PVC assemblies at the stated cure condition. Applications include plastic bonding and disposable medical-device assembly.

Key features

  • Fast Light Fixture: Fixture strength develops in about 5 seconds under several listed 365 or 405 nm exposure conditions.
  • Flexible Cured Bond: A 220% elongation value provides a flexible cured material under the specified cure.
  • UV-Fluorescent Inspection: Positive UV fluorescence aids visual confirmation of adhesive presence.

Applications / Suitable for

  • Bonding heavily plasticized PVC
  • Bonding polycarbonate and ABS
  • Disposable medical-device assembly
