Product Description
LOCTITE® 290 is a medium to high-strength wicking-grade anaerobic threadlocker designed for post-assembly locking and sealing of preassembled threaded fasteners. Its low-viscosity formulation penetrates into threads by capillary action, making it ideal for fasteners that have already been tightened and assembled. The adhesive cures in the absence of air between closely fitting metal surfaces, preventing loosening and leakage caused by vibration, shock and dynamic loads. LOCTITE 290 also helps protect assembled fasteners against corrosion while providing reliable long-term retention in machinery, maintenance and industrial applications.
