Product Description
LOCTITE® 2701 is a high-strength anaerobic threadlocking adhesive designed for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded metal fasteners. The one-component acrylic formulation cures in the absence of air between closely fitting metal surfaces, preventing loosening and leakage caused by shock and vibration. LOCTITE 2701 is particularly well suited for inactive metal substrates such as stainless steel and plated metals, and for applications requiring maximum resistance to hot oils. The low-viscosity adhesive penetrates threads efficiently while providing strong locking performance, excellent chemical resistance and long-term durability in demanding industrial environments.
