LOCTITE 1CLOCTITE 1C

Main features

  • Controlled Two-Part Mixing
  • Flexible Cure Scheduling
  • Machinable Cured Epoxy

Product Description

LOCTITE EA 1C is a two-part epoxy adhesive and sealant supplied as resin and hardener for bonding, sealing, and repair work. The off-white mixture cures at room temperature after mixing and can also be heat cured when a shorter process is required. A 2.5:1 volume mix ratio and at least 20 minutes of pot life at 25 deg C support controlled preparation and placement. After cure, the material can be machined or sanded, and the cured state is characterized by thermal, dielectric, and mechanical properties. It is suited to assemblies involving metals, many plastics, and wood where a durable epoxy bond or sealed repair is required.

Key features

  • Controlled two-part mixing: A 2.5:1 resin-to-hardener volume ratio supports repeatable preparation.
  • Flexible cure scheduling: The mixed epoxy cures at room temperature or with documented heat-cure schedules.
  • Machinable cured material: The cured epoxy can be machined and sanded for finished repairs and assemblies.

Applications / Suitable for

  • Bonding and sealing metals
  • Repairing many plastics and wood
  • General-purpose epoxy adhesive and sealant assemblies
