FREKOTE PUR-100

Main features

  • Water-Based Non-Flammable Release
  • Multiple Releases Per Application
  • Paint-Ready Molded Parts

Product Description

LOCTITE FREKOTE PUR-100 Mold Release Agent is a water-based heat-cure emulsion for releasing rigid high-density polyurethane foam, cast polyurethane parts, and some low-density polyurethane foams. The milky white product has a specific gravity of 0.97 to 1.03 and is non-flammable, freeze/thaw stable, low in VOC, and non-settling. It is spray applied to molds preheated to at least 60 deg C and is suitable for mold temperatures up to 200 deg C. The cured polymer film supports multiple releases and allows molded parts to be painted without post-finishing or cleaning.

Key features

  • Water-based non-flammable system: The release agent uses a water-based emulsion that is non-flammable and freeze/thaw stable.
  • Multiple-release polymer film: A single application can provide multiple releases under the documented molding conditions.
  • Post-molding paintability: Molded parts can be painted without post-finishing or cleaning.

Applications

  • Rigid high-density polyurethane foam molding
  • Cast polyurethane part release
  • Selected low-density polyurethane foam molding
