ENTHONE B3
Harmonization Code : 3909.20.00.90 | Amino-resins, phenolic resins and polyurethanes, in primary forms : Melamine resins : Other

Main features
- Four-Hour Ink Pot Life
- Controlled Heat-Cure Processing
- Faster Cure at Higher Temperature
Product Description
ENTHONE B-3 Catalyst is a heat-cure-only catalyst component for ENTHONE M-Series epoxy marking inks. It provides an average 4-hour pot life after the specified induction period, giving a defined processing window before the ink begins to solidify. Cure temperature must exceed 79 deg C, and higher temperatures shorten the required cure time within the published ink-film schedule. B-3 is used where permanent epoxy markings are processed through controlled thermal cure, including supported M-Series color packages and premeasured bi-pack configurations.
Key features
- Heat-Cure-Only Processing: B-3 is used exclusively with controlled thermal cure.
- Four-Hour Pot Life: The catalyzed ink has an average 4-hour working pot life after induction.
- Temperature-Responsive Cure: Higher cure temperatures reduce the required ink-film cure time.
Applications / Suitable for
- ENTHONE M-Series heat-cured marking inks
- M 0 N and M 9 N bi-pack configurations
- M 0 NC nonconductive black bi-pack configurations
