Product Description
DOWSIL™ RSN-0994 Resin is a light-straw silicone electrical varnish in xylene for coating glass cloth and sleeving and for bonding mica-glass combinations. The material is documented as heat resistant, water repellent, and suitable as an AIEE Class 220°C insulating material. Glass cloth coated with the varnish retains flexibility and electric strength during extended high-temperature exposure under the stated test conditions. Typical as-supplied properties include at least 49% solids content, 80 to 150 mm²/s viscosity at 25°C, and 1.00 to 1.02 relative density.
