Product Description
DOWSIL™ 510 Fluid is a phenylmethyl polysiloxane silicone fluid for hydraulic, motion-dampening, and heat-transfer applications. Available in nominal viscosities from 50 to 30,000 cSt, it combines high-temperature stability during continuous use at 232°C (450°F) with an estimated pour point as low as -57°C (-70°F), depending on viscosity. Its high flash point, low volatility, oxidation resistance, and relatively constant thermal conductivity support evaluation in demanding fluid systems, including hydraulic arrestors, hydraulically actuated valves and instruments, and heat-transfer equipment.
