Product Description
DOWSIL™ 280A Adhesive is a solvent-based silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive formulated for masking, plating, and splicing tape constructions. The peroxide-cure adhesive combines good tack with adhesion performance at temperatures up to 260°C (500°F), making it relevant for tape applications that require temporary or process-stage attachment during elevated-temperature operations. Its reported nonvolatile content of 57%, viscosity of 38,900 mPa·s, and specific gravity of 0.98 at 25°C provide useful selection data for coating and converting evaluation.
