Product Description

CONATHANE® EN-2523 Polyurethane Encapsulant is a black, two-component, filled polyurethane casting and encapsulation system for electrical and electronic assemblies exposed to extreme environments and thermal shock. The mixed material has a typical viscosity of 2,800 cP at 25°C and a 50-minute working time, supporting potting processes that require flow around components before cure. The system may cure at room temperature or with heat and is documented for resistance to salt water, aliphatic hydrocarbons, mild acids, and mild bases. Typical cured properties include Shore D 50 hardness, 50% elongation, and electrical insulation.
