Product Description
Chemlok 485 / Curative 44 Adhesive System is a two-component insert-molding adhesive system for bonding supported PVC and Alcryn-type thermoplastic elastomers to metal and rubber substrates. The system is prepared by adding 6 to 10 parts Curative 44 by weight to 100 parts Chemlok 485. When sealed from moisture at room temperature, the mixed material has an approximate working life of one month. It can be applied by spray, brush, or dip, with a recommended dry film thickness of 17.8 to 25.4 um before molding. The system is intended for supported insert-molding applications using the documented surface preparation and drying process.
