Main features
- High-Green-Strength SMP Adhesive
- Primerless Glass Bonding
- Solvent-, Isocyanate-, and PVC-Free Formulation
Product Description
Bostik 70-08A is a one-component, moisture-curing adhesive based on Silyl Modified Polymer (SMP) technology, specifically developed for windscreen bonding and high-performance industrial assemblies. The high-green-strength formulation enables immediate or rapid movement of bonded components during manufacturing while providing durable, permanently elastic bonds. The solvent-, isocyanate-, and PVC-free adhesive offers primerless adhesion on many substrates, excellent UV and weather resistance, low electrical conductivity, and conforms to FMVSS 212 requirements for automotive glass glazing.
Key Features
- High green strength enables immediate handling and transportation of bonded assemblies after installation.
- Primerless adhesion to ceramic-coated automotive glass and many industrial substrates under supported conditions.
- FMVSS 212 compliant for automotive glass glazing applications.
- Permanent elasticity with excellent UV and weather resistance from -40°C to 120°C.
Applications / Suitable For
- Automotive windscreen bonding
- Glass glazing
- Panel bonding
- High-performance industrial assemblies
- OEM manufacturing
- Coachwork and mobile-unit assembly
