BONDERITE M-MN LUBRITE 2

Main features

  • Oil-Absorptive Phosphate Lubricating Coating
  • Rapid Break-In and Reduced Scuffing
  • Corrosion-Resistant Oil-Finishing Surface

Product Description

BONDERITE® M-MN LUBRITE 2 is a manganese phosphate conversion coating formulated to produce nonmetallic, oil-absorptive coatings on iron and steel bearing surfaces. The resulting iron and manganese phosphate coating improves lubrication, reduces wear during component break-in, enhances corrosion resistance, and provides an excellent surface for oil finishing on precision mechanical components such as pistons, piston rings, liners, camshafts, tappets, and engine blocks.

Key Features

  • Produces oil-absorptive iron and manganese phosphate coatings for improved lubrication.
  • Reduces wear during component break-in by minimizing metal-to-metal contact.
  • Retards corrosion while providing an excellent surface for oil finishing.
  • Helps remove light machining scratches during the phosphating process.
  • Designed for precision iron and steel bearing surfaces.

Applications / Suitable for

  • Pistons
  • Piston rings
  • Cylinder liners
  • Camshafts
  • Tappets
