BONDERITE C-AK 4316
Harmonization Code : 3208.20.90 | Paints and varnishes that are dispersed or dissolved in a non aqueous medium

Main features
- Heat-Scale Conditioning for Multiple Alloys
- Lower-Temperature Molten-Salt Bath Processing
- Nonflammable Titration-Controlled Bath Maintenance
Product Description
BONDERITE® C-AK 4316 AERO is a light yellow granular alkaline cleaner developed to condition heat scale and thermal oxides on ferrous metals, stainless steels, magnesium alloys, and titanium alloys prior to pickling. The immersion process provides scale conditioning comparable to conventional molten salt baths while operating at lower temperatures and lower cost per part. The readily soluble formulation is nonflammable, rinses easily with cold water, and is controlled by titration for consistent bath maintenance.
Key Features
- Conditions heat scale and thermal oxides prior to pickling of selected engineering alloys.
- Lower-temperature alternative to conventional molten salt baths.
- Readily soluble granular formulation with titration-based bath control.
- Cold-water rinsing following immersion processing.
- Nonflammable in both granular form and working solution.
Applications / Suitable for
- Conditioning heat scale prior to pickling
- Ferrous metals
- Stainless steels
- Magnesium alloys
- Titanium alloys
- Immersion metal pretreatment processes
