ARALDITE AW 8680 Resin is a white paste resin component for a flexible two-part polyurethane adhesive system. Published AW 8680 component characteristics include 1.14 specific gravity and 48,000 cP viscosity at 25 deg C. In the AW 8680/HW 8680 configuration, the two parts combine at 93:100 by weight or 1:1 by volume, with a typical 15-minute pot life for a 100 g mass at 25 deg C. This formulation is used for plastic bonding, including polycarbonate and nylon headlamp assemblies, and for primed metal bonding. Its cured profile combines 225% elongation with Shore D 30 hardness under the stated test conditions.
