Product Description
ARALDITE® 2013-1 is a two-component, room-temperature-curing epoxy paste adhesive developed primarily for metal bonding and also suitable for ceramics, glass, rubbers, rigid plastics, and other commonly used materials. Its thixotropic, metal-colored paste supports vertical application and mixes at 100:60 by weight or 1:1 by volume. The mixed adhesive has a pot life of 80–90 minutes for a 100 g mass at 25°C, providing a practical assembly window. A 0.05–0.10 mm adhesive layer is recommended for greatest lap shear strength, with specified lap shear strength above 17 MPa at 23°C. The cured system combines high strength and toughness with documented environmental and chemical resistance.
