Product Description
ARADUR HY 177 Hardener is a modified polyamide liquid hardener used with ARALDITE GY 9708-1 in a room-temperature-curing epoxy casting system. The component is an amber-to-brown liquid with guideline viscosity of 600-900 mPa.s at 25 deg C, specific weight of 0.95-1.0 g/cm3 at 25 deg C, and a closed-cup flash point above 140 deg C. In the documented system, the mix ratio is 45 parts by weight or 52 parts by volume per 100 parts resin. The casting mixture offers a 40-60 minute pot life for 100 ml at 25 deg C. It is intended for casting or impregnation of transformers, filters, capacitors, and related electronic components.
