ALPHA 90IA

ALPHA 90 Water Soluble Inorganic Acid Flux is a strong, highly active liquid flux for stainless steel and other difficult-to-solder metals. Its low activation temperature is suited to light-gauge materials where excessive heat can cause buckling or discoloration. Wetting agents promote rapid, uniform penetration into joint areas, while the active fluxing system reduces spattering. The flux is used for dip soldering and can be heated by torch, iron, oven, resistance, or induction methods. Post-solder residues are corrosive and must be removed promptly with a 1% hydrochloric acid solution followed by a water rinse. Typical specific gravity is 1.32 +/- 0.01 at 25 deg C.
