Main features
- VOC-Free Water-Soluble Fluxing
- Flexible Multi-Method Application
- Thorough Water-Residue Removal
Product Description
ALPHA 3355-11 Water Soluble Flux is a VOC-free, water-soluble organic-acid liquid soldering flux for printed circuits and electronic hardware. It supports foam, spray, dip, wave, and brush application, allowing the fluxing method to match the assembly line. Flux applicators and reservoirs should use plastic or titanium construction. Preheat is adjusted for conveyor speed, component type, and substrate, with a topside temperature near 210 deg F on entry to the solder wave identified as typical. Its water-soluble post-solder residues are intended for thorough removal after soldering.
Key features
- VOC-free organic-acid flux: The water-soluble liquid formulation supports soldering processes that specify a VOC-free flux.
- Multiple application methods: Foam, spray, dip, wave, and brush options provide flexibility across printed-circuit soldering equipment.
- Water-removable residues: Water-soluble residues are designed for thorough post-solder removal from electronic hardware.
Applications
Applications include soldering printed circuits and electronic hardware by foam, spray, dip, wave, or brush flux application.
